What a DICOM load gives, for Values.

[Experimental("EGAMIX001", UrlFormat = "https://github.com/inexin/Egami/blob/main/docs/articles/formats/dicom.md")]
public enum DicomValues

Fields

Display = 0

What a viewer shows (the default): monochrome images through the modality, VOI and presentation transforms to Gray8 or Gray16, colour and palette images as Rgb8 or Rgb16.

Modality = 1

The modality values (PS3.3 C.11.1), such as Hounsfield units: the stored values through the Modality LUT or Rescale Slope and Intercept, as GrayF32. Colour images load as for Display.

Stored = 2

The stored values, signed ones with their sign, as GrayF32 (exact to 2^24); palette images give their indices. Colour images load as Rgb8 or Rgb16 with their samples as stored, YBR not converted to RGB.

Examples

// The numbers behind the picture, as GrayF32: modality values (such as Hounsfield units), or the stored values.
using Raster<Egami.Pixels.GrayF32> hounsfield = Raster.Load<Egami.Pixels.GrayF32>("scan.dcm", context,
    new DicomReaderOptions { Values = DicomValues.Modality });
float center = hounsfield.Row(2)[2].L;
